Willard South Elementary

Summer school dates have been set for June 4-29. Summer school locations for students entering grades  K-4 for the 2012-2013 school year will be at Willard Orchard Hills Elementary and Willard North Elementary.  Students entering 5th-8th grade for the 2012-2013 school year will have summer school at Willard Intermediate School.  Below you will find enrollment forms for summer school and our Tiger Tales before/after school program.  The deadline to turn in forms is May 11th.

• Buy a SUPER HERO Friendship Gram for your child for only $.50.  These order forms are due by February 10th.
• MAP ATTACK for our 3rd and 4th graders will begin February 22nd.  Registration forms are due February 3rd.
• Jumprope for Heart begins the week of February 21st.  Coach Ferguson is needing volunteers.  You can contact her by phone or email.  (862-6308 ext. 1164 or lferguso@willard.k12.mo.us)

WHY:    You get to see your TEACHERS work at McDonald’s AND a portion of the sales from 4:00-8:00 will go to Willard South!!

• December 21st-Students Dismissed at 12:30 and Schoolwide PJ Day
• December 22nd-January 3rd-Holiday Break

Don’t miss the Willard South Elementary Make-It Take-It Night on Thursday, December 1st from 6:00-7:30.  You and your family will enjoy making a special ornament, decorating sugar cookies, listening to our After School Actors perform holiday songs, and pictures with Santa.  All you need to bring is the entire family and a can of frosting.  It is sure to be a festive evening!

 Join us for our PTO Movie Night on Saturday, November 12th at 5:00 in the Willard South Elementary cafeteria.  FEATURING…CARS 2!!  We will be serving popcorn, drinks, hot dogs and chips.  You can also buy raffle tickets to win the movie basket at the end of the evening.  It is sure to be a great time!

Are you ready for the Willard South PTO Chili Cook-Off? Please mark your calendar for Saturday, October 22nd from 5:00-7:00.  If you are interested in entering your award winning chili, please click here to register.  We will have two winners by the end of the night…BEST CHILI and MOST FESTIVE.  Let the competition begin!
